Hace diez años, en una semana como esta, recuerdo que salí disparado a la discotienda más cercana de mi casa. Tenía en mente comprar un sólo disco: el "Yield" de Pearl Jam. Bien debo de advertirles que mi adolescencia transcurrió entre una afiebrada devoción por escuchar cualquier álbum que lleve impregnado el rótulo del quinteto de Seattle a cuestas. Echémosle la culpa no al "Ten" ni al "Vs." (que si bien son los discos non plus ultra para muchos, no son particularmente mis favoritos) sino al "No Code", álbum incomprendido e infravalorado que terminó de quitarle -como bien dice el título- todas las etiquetas a la banda de Eddie Vedder, siendo también la producción culpable de llevar a la banda a nuevos horizontes sonoros.
