The air ticket has been booked for Oct. Since it is a one-year ticket, boy is it expensive! Accommodation has been settled as well so that's another thing off the list. Getting ready my visa application only to find that I need to dl a newer version of Adobe Reader and dl new fonts just to print the application form from the Chinese embassy website. Last week I had the unique chance to attend an important International Conference held in Osaka and, while there, I was invited to the Gala Dinner"¦ to take pictures of the event! I flew into the Emerald Isles courtesy of Irish Regent Airways. I was a bit dubious about flying with them at first, but apparently the abbreviation is just an unhappy coincidence. In all actuality the flight was quite uneventful and I completely failed to be exploded at any time.
